Safe and Sound car safety inspection
Before you buy a used car from a Safe and Sound dealership, they will have carried out an extensive vehicle safety inspection free of charge, for your peace of mind.
When buying a used car, you want to know that it has undergone a rigorous safety inspection which ensures that your vehicle is safe, reliable and mechanically sound. As part of the award-winning Safe and Sound used car program from the WMS Group, your dealership will have carried out an extensive mechanical and electrical inspection to eliminate any potential underlying issues which could otherwise put yourself and other road users in serious danger.
These inspections are designed to provide a consistent minimum level of vehicle preparation and reinforce our stringent standards for your peace of mind. We understand that vehicle safety is a primary concern, which is why only the most meticulous dealerships are invited to join our approved dealer network.
A safety inspection typically covers all of the items that are checked during an MOT. Your Safe and Sound dealership will check for sufficient tread on the tyres, the operation of the headlights, oil levels, seatbelt operation, windscreen damage, worn brakes and more.
